PhotoTager Quick Start Guide

This quick start guide will help you get up and running with PhotoTager in just a few minutes.

1. Create a Project

  1. Log in to your PhotoTager account
  2. Click the "Projects" tab in the navigation menu
  3. Click the "Create New Project" button
  4. Fill in the basic details:
  5. Name: Give your project a descriptive name
  6. Context: Add information about the photo shoot (e.g., "Beach wedding in Hawaii")
  7. Template: Select a metadata template (or use the default)
  8. Click "Create Project"

2. Upload Media

  1. From your new project page, click "Upload Files"
  2. Select image or video files from your computer
  3. You can select multiple files at once
  4. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, MOV, AVI, WEBM
  5. Wait for uploads to complete

3. Generate Metadata

  1. Select the uploaded media items (use "Select All" for convenience)
  2. Click the "Generate Metadata" button
  3. Wait for processing to complete
  4. This may take a few minutes depending on the number of files
  5. Each image/video will consume credits from your account

4. Review and Edit

  1. Review the generated titles, descriptions, and keywords
  2. Make any necessary edits:
  3. Click on any text field to modify content
  4. Use the keywords sidebar to add or remove keywords
  5. Changes are saved automatically

5. Export for Stock Platforms

  1. Click the "Download CSV" button
  2. If you've selected multiple platforms, you'll receive a ZIP file with separate CSVs
  3. Use these files when uploading to stock photography websites

6. Manage Your Projects

  • Return to the Projects page to view all your projects
  • Click on any project to view or continue editing its content
  • Use batch processing for larger collections of media
