PhotoTager Quick Start Guide
This quick start guide will help you get up and running with PhotoTager in just a few minutes.
1. Create a Project
- Log in to your PhotoTager account
- Click the "Projects" tab in the navigation menu
- Click the "Create New Project" button
- Fill in the basic details:
- Name: Give your project a descriptive name
- Context: Add information about the photo shoot (e.g., "Beach wedding in Hawaii")
- Template: Select a metadata template (or use the default)
- Click "Create Project"
- From your new project page, click "Upload Files"
- Select image or video files from your computer
- You can select multiple files at once
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, MOV, AVI, WEBM
- Wait for uploads to complete
- Select the uploaded media items (use "Select All" for convenience)
- Click the "Generate Metadata" button
- Wait for processing to complete
- This may take a few minutes depending on the number of files
- Each image/video will consume credits from your account
4. Review and Edit
- Review the generated titles, descriptions, and keywords
- Make any necessary edits:
- Click on any text field to modify content
- Use the keywords sidebar to add or remove keywords
- Changes are saved automatically
- Click the "Download CSV" button
- If you've selected multiple platforms, you'll receive a ZIP file with separate CSVs
- Use these files when uploading to stock photography websites
6. Manage Your Projects
- Return to the Projects page to view all your projects
- Click on any project to view or continue editing its content
- Use batch processing for larger collections of media
